score at gun show!
« on: February 19, 2012, 03:44:19 PM »
Was scanning the tables at gun show today for a topper or pardner, picked up a shooter stevens 12 ga single shot, for $25 couldn't get the money out fast enough.  Took it home and it shot great, made around 1913 so I don't have the heart to cut it down to a shorty, maybe will have better luck next time...

I would definitly like to see a pic of that 1913 Stevens.  This is a J. C. Higgins, made my Stevens for Sears in 1950 (when my Dad bought it) in .410.  Does the frame look sorta like this?
