new air gun bullet moulds
« on: February 19, 2012, 08:55:53 PM »
Got my first chance to try out my LBT moulds for my.25 cal.sumatra.I receved 2 moulds, the set I ordered, and another to try out.Small cal.bullets are normaly a challenge to cast even with aloyed lead. But Veral has made an easy to cast bullet with a Paradox-style groove, flat nose and bevel base,so bullets stay firmly in the cylinder.Easy to cast even with pure lead. They are dual weight moulds 50gr.&58gr.The second set 70gr.&75gr.The groove is not for lube, but to take the stress of the sumatras choked barrel.Just like a Paradox gun slug.As I test these bullets I will post the results.
