S&W 25-7
« on: February 20, 2012, 03:49:21 AM »
Just bought a new gun this weekend.I bought it for a shooter thinking the gun was used. I paid 550 for a 25-7. I thought the price was fair for a shooter. This was the first gun I bought from an ad in a shopper. When I got to the gentlemans house I found out he was a retiree and the 25-7 was new in the box unfired.I tried looking it up on line but have not found much about this model. If anyone has info on it let me know and if anyone knows what this gun is worth please let me know.

2000 units of the 25-7 were made in 1989 during Smith's " Gun of The Month" run. 45 long colt ctg.. 5 " barrel. Unfluted cyliinder. Brunion blue finish(not shiney). Square butt with hogue grips. Had mine since then. Nice gun!
