Mr. Keller is certainly not the type of person I want representing the gun community.
 
When trying to get new people into the shooting sports and to help non-shooters see that guns aren't dangerous on their own power, you don't insult them for making a political decision.  You don't insult their race or religion.  You accept them as people who are showing an intrest in shooting and possibly people who want to have more control over the defense of their families and homes.
 
While were currently experiencing favorable rulings in gun laws recently, we can't expect to go flapping our gums and acting like idiots.  That drives support away from gun ownership and back into the arms of the anti-gun crowd.  We have to remain respectful and vigilant.  People who are new to the shooting sports are already afraid of the stigma that gun carry as being dangerous.  You have to gently show them and teach them safety.  Let them know that picking up a gun isn't going to kill them if the rules are followed.  Ease them into it slowly and then build off that foundation.
 
This Keller guy is a complete moron.  I wouldn't take his course if he offered it to me free with all my expenses paid.  Way to turn new members of the gun community away.  What a complete A-hole.
