I have admired the RWS 54 for years, almost bought one 2 years ago, but it felt really heavy, and it is not cheap.  With alot of the air gun shooters going over to PCP (pre-charged) these days for low recoil precision shooting, and people complaining about the recoil of the springers with the requirement of the "Artillery Hold", why is it that RWS is the only gun maker with the recoil-less design?

Seems the patent would be over on this as it has been around for years, the thought of a springer that does not jump when you pull the trigger would be a seller? :)

Anyone have a RWS 54, and does it really have no recoil?
