Cim. specs their products, and the build level to meet them, and are one of the best in terms of keeping 'their' manufacturers on the ball. I echo what GB has to say 100%; Ive had Pietta's and Uberties and the average U has been considerably better than the average P, so much in fact that I wont buy another Pietta unless its dirt cheap and I wont expect much.
BTW, my Uberti made, sold by Cabela's 'Millenium' Colt '73 clone had a matte black finish (since polished off and cold blued; looks pretty good), but the mechanicals are nicely timed, the trigger tuned up quickly and it shoots pretty well to the sights.
