You can shoot .357 mag and .38 specials through it ;)  Keep an eye on gun broker. Every now and then there is some there.

Remington needs to make a run of it. I heard they should be making it in March. Will see.

Remington has been making a run every year, sources being out of stock is a recurrent theme, has happened numerous times since I bought my first Maxi about 8yrs ago, they'll make more, don't worry.  ;)

A while back I bought a box of 100 Remington cases (head stamped R-P) for the 357 Maximum. No back order, no waiting. I ordered them from Midway USA. I checked with Midway, and they are back ordered, but expect it to be available on 3/27/2012. The cases are definitely available, you just have to keep looking around and be ready to pounce on it when you find it in stock.
The wait will be worth it, because you will love your Maxi, I promise !

Denny,
If all else fails, I can send you 50 new pieces. I just ask that you replenish them after your order comes in. I won't be using any this year anyways. :(

Thanks, Dinny

AtoZoutdoors didn't deliver, out of stock.  I've not found any 357 Max brass either, the only place I have found that will let you back order is Cabela's, 3 to 4 weeks.

I was looking some a while back myself.
I just added it to my wish/need list on a couple dealers sites with the "email me when available" option.  ;)
When it arrived I ordered it and they delivered.
Buy twice what you need and you'll be good to go for some time.  ;D

I agree that one should order more than needed. It's kinda like 445SM brass, get it while you can or regret it later. ;)
