  Is it really any surprise that home & Christian schooled students are cleaning up at the national spelling bees ?

And, most importantly, support from families involved in the child's education.   Family support and aid does lead to excellence in education and academic performance.  The lack of family support is the biggest reason many black children do so poorly on standardized tests and in their academic coursework -- the motivation is absent from the scene.    You would think Jesse Joke-son and Loco Louis Farrakhan would learn these lessons and try to help their people.  Nope.  they only want to grow their power.
