Shout Out (once more) for RCBS Customer Service!
« on: February 29, 2012, 10:13:27 AM »
I called.  They listened.

I will soon receive several new parts in replacement for broken, damaged, and worn parts of both my RCBS die (223 Seater Plug) and my add-on progressive Piggyback II reloader to my Rock Chucker Press (Nylon Bushings, Powder Measure Adaptor Tube, Knurled Screws).

All Free of Charge.

One live phone call to this superior company is all it took.  They continue to stand behind their well built products after my 20+ years of use.

Now that is Customer Service of the Highest Quality.

Thought you should know...

Will have to second what Land Owner said.  I have a RCBS Trim Pro Power case trimmer that developed some wear in the cutter shaft after a lot of trimming (years) cases of nearly the same length.

Since I am picky about tolerances I called Customer Service and explained the problem.  One week later I received a new cutter shaft at no charge and no hassle just a phone call.

This the easiest CS department I have ever dealt with :)

I got a rcbs power case trimmer that had stripped out subbase screws and missing a bunch of different size screws and a missing base, the power handle screw didn't fit right and some other stuff wrong or missing. The total I figured up was about $70,when I talked to the rep. told them everything I needed they said no problem that'll be $13 (I think) everything else is covered by warranty. They have always been like this to me so I'm sticking with them. I just wish they had more workers so not to be on hold for sometimes over an hour.

Danny-L, they have 2 girls working the front desk (very attractive I might add) one main Honcho in charge of the shop. I have been dealing with them for a lot of years and have received nothing but top service. Every thing that I have broke or screwed up they have replaced as it is under warrenty. Best part is their only 53 miles from me and it gives me a reason to go into Huningtons sporting goods which is right next door.

I've had a similar experience with Lee, talked with a live person and was sent replacement parts free, outside of their "2 year warranty".

I think RCBS  customer service is the greatest.  Several bent decapping stems replaced, replacement pins sent, all for free.  The most unbelievable story was when they sent me a brand new 30 carbine expander die because I bought a used die set that had 2 seating dies and no expander.  I emailed inquiring as to if I could buy one and they ended up sending it for free.  They'll always have my business!

RCBS and Hornady both are the epitomy of what quality and customer service should be.
In the 1920's "sheeple" was a term coined by the National Socialist Party in Germany to describe people that would not vote for Hitler. In the 1930's they held Hitler as the only one that would bring pride back to Germany and bring the budget and economy back.....

Not to try to top anyones story....
I had an RCBS LubriSizer that had belonged to my Dad. He quite bullets casting long ago and gave it to me. After using it for a while, I realized that the ram didn't quite line up with the sizing die. I sent it in not knowing what to expect. Imagine my utter disbelief when a package arrived from RCBS that contained ad BRAND NEW lubrisizer...no charge!
Another reason I'll pay a little more for RCBS. Outstanding customer service.

I haven't asked for much but they did send a new de-capping pin a while back when one broke. I have a good amount of RCBS reloading gear.
