I agree it is an infringement on the law abiding, but with Illinois claiming a 70% reduction in meth activity after passing similar laws it was just too enticing...
IMO if we want to stop this kind of BS we law abiding citizens need to quit ignoring illegal activity and first police ourselves, then require the local law enforcement to enforce existing laws. Otherwise this is a never ending cycle.

I agree with keith..it is certainly disgusting that the law-abiding must be hampered by the law-breakers ! My wife has, among outher medical problems, Parkinson's disease. Her prescriptions require one which is a restricted Rx. Her Dr is about 30 miles from our home and for most prescriptions, when she needs a refill she can just call the dr and he will FAX a new Rx to her pharmacy, nearby at about 8 miles.
The restricted Rx he is NOT ALLOWED to FAX... we must give 24 hrs notice for refill and must pick up the new Rx within 24 hours..thus, we are forced every 3 months to take an unplanned 60 mile round trip...because of irresponsible addicts. Not only the time, but how much does it cost us extra (fuel, wear & tear etc)..because of dopers ?
I also agree that we should readily turn in any of these law-breakers..exactly what a decent citizen should do...

Bobg;
I live in WNY and am a bit puzzled by the restrictions on dog food. I have never run into this...not saying it doesn't happen, anything is possible in the "people's republik of Ny"... I am really curious however; where and what store tried to restrict you in dog food purchase ? Send me a PM if you wish.. Ironglow
