Thanks Reliquary!  For the link and turning us onto WarriorTimes - a 'new' board I was unaware of.  ;D

Surprised that article from the Fib-guys didn't include "people who read the Bible or go to church" as another possible way to spot 'preppers.'

Mormons are likely to draw more attention in the not-far-future because of the [silly] season, but Mormons are also following their faith practicing self-sufficiency and preparing for lean times or disasters when they put away food storage!  What are the fedcoats gonna do about people being 'religious?'  Versus bowwing down to worship the great DC-god?

Guess any of the Branch Davidians (Waco survivors) still alive could comment on that.  And certainly the Catholics most affected or who will most [suffer] because of recent events.

If cash is ever outlawed, guess that shouldn't be a huge surprise either.

QUESTION!:  Why haven't the authorities castigated and criticized folks who buy freeze dried 'camping food?' (vs MRE's) freeze dried "MRE's?" ??   ???   ::)   (Mountain House or Provident Pantry ..... vs 'MRE's'?)

Here is the whole list:  http://www.osceola.org/sheriff/113-14385-19137/communities_against_terrorism.cfm
What's really frightening is to see how many areas I fit into:  Right wing news subscriber, conservative Christian, member of NRA, member of a local shooting club, write letters to editors, hobby gardener, hobby electronics, member of this site, combat veteran, etc.
Louisiana has already passed a law that all cash sales have to be reported and have taxes paid on the transactions.  That's really working out well for them.   ::)

Can't imagine how many times I've been targeted as a terrorist.  Being a reloader, gunsmith, a gardener who saves seeds, and prefers not to use gas powered tools to work the garden.  Heck my place doesn't even show up on google earth.  Yup very suspicious
keep em talkin' while I reload

Woops!  May be a lot of us on a list somewhere!  The shame of it is, we may be the ones who are on the side against the terrorists.

And even people who buy “night flashlights

Dang I didn't even know them thangs existed. I reckon all mine are just daytime flashlights and likely wouldn't do me any good at night cuz they sure aren't advertised as night flashlights. Where ya buy them I wonder. Heck I might need one cuz it is night around here roughly half the time or a bit less.

Mine do a good job in day time tho cuz I can see clearly when using them then.  :o
