Neither do I but the Federal Government has invited both you and me and countless others to do both at every payday and they seem to get really touchy when folks politely decline that invite.

I think I could get on board with this birth control thing if they would amend it to say "...and since birth control is now free that means that there is no more free money for you to sit with your legs in the air popping out baby after baby after baby."

Rush was esssentially correct, but people have problems dealing with the truth.
Let's take a look; Here is a college girl, unmarried..who is so deep into sex she needs more than $3,000 every couple years just for contraception. Normally a woman can get her "pill' fore a few bucks per month at most..or from the liberal's already tax supported executioners..Planned Parenthood...for free.
Even if she has a dozen sperm donors and buys their condoms..how many would she have to entertain ..to use up $3,000 ?
Even then one would expect her paramours to pay their own way, rather than the rest of us to have to pay for them..

I suppose she would have to "entertain" several per day and since most schedules cannot coincide for so many hours of 'leisure exercize'..it appears she would have to have a herd of breeders.
I don't pretend to know what it takes for some of you guys to consider a woman a slut...but we likely don't all share the same standards.

Her parents MUST BE PROUD !

Kimber you're right some just do not get it, this isn't really about some females griping about not getting free birthcontrol, it's not really about whether or not some one thinks Rush's appology was real.
The entire affair is about a fake congressional hearing, with hearsay evidence presented by a known leftwing activist, and the leftt and the presses so far very successful attempt to direct attention away from the attack on the first ammendment and religious freedom by the Obama administration.

If he has an understanding of the English lang. and definition of slut he most likely ment it. When you look up slut in the dict.ionary you find in one definition. it means promiscuous which means not restricted to one. With that kind of expence involved it could be assumed one partner could not keep up the pace. It would seem if more than one partner existed then she would not have a case to sue Rush. Just opinion ......

You are correct and people really should not care but in reality millions hang on his every word and take it for conservative gospel.
If Obama is considered the liberal messiah than Rush must be the conservative messiah. I am quite sure that he voted for Obama because it is $$$ for him.

Obama is a muslim by his actions, background, & birth. Everyone else is a infidel, and worthy of death by the muslim creed.
If he is re-elected we better wory about more than keeping our gun rights....

someone who is religous may find the womans actions out of wedlock concerning. From a political view point some would say a religious person has no right to tell her how to live. I agree if we are free we should be able to live as we please as long as it dosen't hurt some else. But the religious person has rights also and being forced to pay for what not long ago in this country was not only aginst religous beliefs but also illegal is wrong. Rush should be able to offer his opinion as she did .

Rush's apology has gotten a little more believable, sort of. Maybe he did a little soul-searching, in addition to hearing from friends.

Bill Maher has said many disgusting things, yet the media that is chastising Rush is silent when Maher opens his foul mouth. There are other disgusting things he has said about prominent people, that are to disgusting to type here. I don't think it really has much to do with him giving a million dollar donation to O'boys PAC. The media has been protecting leftist pigs like Maher for a long time, for no other reason than that, he is a leftist pig. I doubt Maher ever apologized for anything. It just wouldn't fit his character. I guess talk show hosts only have free speech if they are trashing conservatives.

Rush did mean what he said, I think he wishes he had used different words. The words were insulting, but it was the truth. When Rush added the part about it should be put on video for all to watch if we were going to pay for it. He was just indicating just how ridiculously stupid her request was. Which I do believe her request was to the point of being unbelievable. Just an indication of the way of the world, and how people think others owe them what ever they desire. Its actually kind of sad, that people have stooped to this level, where they think someone else should pay for their contraception.

Question- why do the people who follow the rules have to suffer for those who can't? It's like when the whole class can't go out for recess, because 2 children can't behave. Punish those who don't follow the rules, not those who do.

The question of the op was........Do you really think he meant it? (Rush L) Most gave an opinion and some with an explanation of their opinion. What else is there to add? The question was one regarding the sincerity in his apology. The thread has not been locked has it? And what does your question have to do with the thread? If you disagree with a mod or Adm. and they way they handle things PM them.
