The question of the op was........Do you really think he meant it? (Rush L) Most gave an opinion and some with an explanation of their opinion. What else is there to add? The question was one regarding the sincerity in his apology. The thread has not been locked has it? And what does your question have to do with the thread? If you disagree with a mod or Adm. and they way they handle things PM them.

And, unfortunately for you, I happen to know that you are aware of that policy since I sent it to you just a few days ago...

I believe that Rush was right in his original statement. I believe he meant everyword in his appology.
I also believe that that young woman opened the door to any and everything that comes her way when she went to Congress and testified in a public hearing about having to pay for birthcontrol...
There was a time not long ago that sort of behavior would not of been accepted as it is now.
 I also believe that the double standards the left and left leaning types loose any and all credibility when they fail to condemn the outrageous statements made by Mahr,Letterman, Franken, etal, directed at "conservative" people...

I agree wholeheartedly. The "spokespeople" for the left have no problem using inflammatory and derrogitory terms when speaking about those that do not hold the same views as they do. But let someone on the right express an opinion and they stamp their feet and set their hair on fire, demanding the death penalty for the offenders. Sorry, but I agree with Rush's original statement as well. I have been keeping the list of businesses that have withdrawn sponsorship to Rush's program and have already canceled one accout and will be letting the others know that their bias precludes me from doing any business with their companies.

I have a few choice words (all of wich I gleened from this BB) to describe (in my oopinion) some on the left side, Olberman, Maddow, Colbert, Stewart, just to name a few. All of the following apply to each, equally. They are: "narcotic and Viagara addicted agitpropists, out and out disengenuous jerks, neocon entertainers, fat (or ugly, or both), hypocrites, idiots, and arrogant blowhards that put a stink on others for their own purposes". There are those here that feel they need to make comments like that about anyone on the right and at the same time show their indignation that someone on the right would dare utter an unkind word toward the left. Really folks, if we could all be civil and just leave bitter thoughts unsaid, we'd all probably get along better.

  I believe Rush meant what he said but realized that he should have accused her of some such thing as, "lacking discernment" or "lacking discretion" rather than just saying she is simply a slut.  They mean the same thing, but the PC terms are 'softer'.
 
      For some folks, facing the truth is a difficult and foreign act.
 
   BTW:  Carbonite takes a hit..and according to tonight's news, two new clients have signed on with Rush, while others are waiting to be assigned a time slot. 
    Of all people, Bill Mahr has condemned the liberal's boo-hooing and the cowardly sponsors who cut & run.  He said he hated backing Rush, but I guess it's a pre-emptive defensive strike on his part !

  She claims birth control costs her thousands upon thousands of dollars. Either she is lying or too dense to play the system other than what she is doing it right now on TV...

Rush's apology has gotten a little more believable, sort of. Maybe he did a little soul-searching, in addition to hearing from friends.

  The original question is from a radical liberal spin.
 
 1)    " Do you feel he meant it ?"  We should not make political or analytical decisions upon feelings, such decisions should be made by thoughtful consideration, leave the "touchy-feely" crap to liberal wimps.
 
 2) The question is an effort to derail the real picture. The real question should be,..
       " Does a president alone, have the right to attempt to undermine the 1st article of the Bill of Rights."
 
   This is not a 'contraceptive gear'..she should buy her own , or if she's so poor as she says..get her 'pleasure packages' where other "po folk" get theirs..from Planned Parenthood or some county clinic.
