Forbidden photos from the Army Artillery Museum in Lisbon

I have friends who have gone to Lisbon to see the arty museum and have been disappointed that no photos are allowed. However a member of the VS forum posted some. Go to post no. 8 for many photos. The last photo, a Portuguese bronze mortar on very elaborate Indonesian (I think) bed, is something Gary will want to make I'm sure.

...those are some pretty interesting bronze cannon! The last one is especially interesting, with all the ornate artwork!

Interesting how different things catch different peoples' attention. The really long bronze barrels caught mine; what a casting project, especially if cast vertically.
