I have been some.  I priced several varieties, but decided that since I have my .45 LC blackhawk, I really don't need it.  I can find a better use for the $200-300 dollars than a cylinder I most likely won't use.  hehe

isnt the roa barrel made for .457 bullets?i always wondered about the aftermarket cylinders in 45 long colt.my 45 colts shoot .451-.452 bullets well. how would they shoot in a .457 barrel?

I'm having good luck with .452 conicals so far.  I have used .457 round balls, but they shave a bit of a ring off during seating.  I think the .457 is to guarantee that there's no airspace for a spark to jump to the next cylinder.  I have read of several getting good accuracy with .45 Colt cylinders though.  ;)
