vinyl scope caps ?
« on: January 25, 2004, 06:09:42 AM »
Would anyone know were I can buy the slip on vinyl caps for rifle scopes ? I've seen them at matches, some plain and some from the Premier shop. I've found some in an industrial supply catalog, but I don't want to buy 50 of each size. They seem to be the most practical type of cover I've seen for target shooting. Thanks, LouisV

...........For the non-flip open type Sinclair's @ sinclairintl.com has them for Leupold and Lyman scopes made of the neoprene material.......they also have the flip open Butler Creek type for all size scopes and they are 8.25 each and have a chart requiring the diameter of the  objective and ocular bell in inch or mm with range in size from 1.25/31.1 to 2.725/69.2......inch/mm.........they are good people at Sinclair and the scope caps are well made.....HTH..good luck and good shooting!!

go the Butler Creek, easy to open as you bring gun up to shoot. I put them on anything I pack in the field.

Thanks for the replys, I'll get the slip on's from Siclair. This rifle will never see the woods so I just need something to help keep the lenses clean. LouisV
