Still trying to narrow down my choices,and was wondering if the 4200 uses tall turrets.

I am assuming you are asking if they come with tall Turrets? If so, the answer is no.

What I'd call "semi" target turrets. The have a cap just like most w/e adjustments and are easily finger adjustable, they just don't stick up that high. I like them this size because when mounted the guns are easier to store in your safe...

My reason for asking is I like to use the scope as a carry handle, and the tall turrets make hard to do. Thanks for the replies.

DO NOT USE THE SCOPE AS A HANDLE!! :eek: THAT'S ONE OF THE WORSE THINGS YOU CAN DO!

Although scope tubes are strong, they were never intended to be used as handles. A rifle can weigh, on average, 7 pounds. Using the scope as a handle will cause the tube to eventually bend and thus cause all sorts of problems within the internal mechanisms over time.

I figured I would get nailed on that one. LOL, I assumed it was bad but sometimes I just cant help my self from useing it that way. Now that I know I will try harder not to.
