Remingtons new Marlin ME in 308 ME

Well to those annoyed with the "Stuff" put out in levers under the Marlin name .

I am happy to say looking at a new Remington built Marlin Lever MX in 308 that things have turned for the best .
The wood to metal fit is as perfect as I have seen on any production gun . So too is the bluing and metal finish . The chamber and rifling is also excellent .The walnut grain on the stock too very nice .
The action was a bit stiff, but am sure will work in over time as with any lever over time .
I have been waiting a few years to buy one of these guns - so Yesterday I Just DID!!

I've looked at their lever in the same caliber in 308 as well as 338.  Both rifles looked excellent to me...but I didn't need another 308 and I was kind of wondering obout the longevity of the 338.  Let us know how she shoots as I have read excellent reviews about range and accuracy.

We need to wait a few weeks for the snow to melt and the mud to Dry, to get back into the pit .We did not really get a lot of snow this year in North Bay but there is ice . Maybe we have a warm spring and it will dry up fast .
