M77 LH
« on: March 12, 2012, 01:37:53 AM »
A friend and I were looking around theother day and he spotted a left hand M77 in 06.  This rifle is beauteous nad appears like new.  He is wondering what he should offer the owner for this.  Both he and the owner are southpaws.... Thanks.

I would offer $500.  I always figure a good used gun is worth 60% or so of the retail price of new.
Good Shooting,
George

Hi,

Just bought one new from the local Dicks sporting goods.  an M77 left hand in 30-06.  Beautiful rifle.  Here what I did.

Used a $30.00 sale discount.  Opened a new account with a Dicks credit card and got 10% off the purchase price.  Total sale price was $530.00 new out the door, and yes I did have to order it.  Took a week to come in. I am now in progress of setting up a zero interest visa card to transfer the balance and will pay only minimal if any interest on the purchase.

BTW the normal sale price from them is $619.00 before any tax.

Just put a Vism 6x range finder scope on it and will be taking it to the range this week to see how it shoots...

Later,

Paul
