Who made this .22lr conversion unit?
« on: March 17, 2012, 03:23:29 PM »
I was given this unit today.  I can find no markings on it at all.  It seems very well made.  Un like the current Ciener units, it has an internal extactor and the forward end of the slide is not shaped like a real M1911 slide.  I goes on to the 1911 frame very smoothly and the magazine fits well.  However, the slidestop pin will not go all the way into the hole.  It stops about 1/4 inch out and I cannot figure out what is stopping it.  Any information about this unit, and how to get the pin in would be much appreciated!  I want to get this unit up and shooting.
Thanks
PS sorry for the bad photo.  It is shot from a smart phone.
