Used too, but not latley, to many yotes. Back in the day I hunted rabbits  with a bow and gun shy Beagles. It was a blast. Usually done pretty good too.
As far as equipment I used my Whitetail gear and Judo points.
Gets pretty exciting, shoot, miss, darn, shoot , miss, darn, shoot, YEAH BABY.

Have not done any lately, but in my college days made my own arrows and was the most feared guy among the rabbits and birds! I used a 45# Fiber glass Ben Pearson at that time. Made some fantastic shots on starlings that were quite impressive! I used empty .38 Special cases for game points!
Later I used a 55# Mustang Ben Pearson for big game. After college wife and I moved back to Shreveport where I slaughtered the garfish down around Lake Bistoneau( SP)? That was a lot of fun at night! Snakes, turtles, gators always were there to keep you company! ;D

I went small game hunting for carp ;)  for the first time in my life with my old Ben Pearson Stallion last week. What a load of fun! I missed 10 or 12 but I connected with one. I think I was dropping my arm on a lot of shots instead of bending at the waist. Still learning to shoot instinctive. Casting those heavy fish arrows felt like nocking up a broom stick and shooting it although the extra weight made my bow dead quiet.

Hi NSA! Can you see how many fingers I am holding up?

Also if you don`t already know, be sure to aim low beneath the fish to compensate for the refraction of the water depth!

I like catching carp on a rod and reel but I bet bowfishing 'em would be a blast. ;D
