Seen those too last week, good buy camo stock and all if I had any use for a 35 Whelen.
Somebody must have screwed up, ordering that many guns in the same caliber.

It's hard to believe TWO of you walked past them and there's still eight on the shelf :o   Do I "need" a .35 Whelen?  No, but at least one would have come home with me.  Were Cabelas closer, I'd be off and running, but going over the Bridge at four bucks or more a gallon, it just ain't worth it.  I'd buy one for the stock and frame if nothing else.

Would have bought one just for the frame and stock, but figured it would be difficult to sell the barrel.

I have two 35 Whelens, I shoot 250 gr Hornady RN Interlocks, over 56gr of RL15.
This shoots very well and has enough power to swat about anything.

Welcome!! That's my powder and bullet of choice for my 35 Whelen Improved Handi, at 2660fps it would have worked great on an elk last season should I have run across one........which I didn't  :-\... maybe this year.  :D
