Ruger Single-Six NR-9 value

Asking for opinions - what is a near-perfect Ruger Single-Six NR-9 worth used. This gun is near-perfect, has had a trigger job and has a Hogue rubber grip. Is complete with box and owners manual. The magnum cylinder has never been fired. If not familiar with model numbers, this is a blued finish - 9 inch barrel. ------ thanks !   braud357

Unless the trigger was reworked by a natioanlly known 'smith that adds nothing to the price nor does the Hogue grip. (rubber grips on SAs go together like pineapple and limabeans) :P   Just guessing I'll say $250 but I'm not up on S.Sixes.  Head to one of the on-line gun auctions/sales sites or ask this over at RugerForum.com.  great bunch there w/ much knowhow on these.

Phil,

With grip and trigger job $275 - 300 would not be unexpected for the 9" barrel.  Is it the Bicentenial model?  That would add a little to the value.
Get some Ken Light sights on it and use it in sillywets.   :)

Steve - did not give all details - this IS my IHMSA revolver, and it currently sports a Bomar - Lansing combo. My eyes are getting so bad that I have just about given up on open-sight shooting. The best score I ever fired with it was a 38x40. Was just trying to gauge the value - I would like to sell it to a fellow silhouetter - would rather see it being used than sitting in my safe - going to waste. --- Philip Braud

I am assuming that this is the 22/22mag version, right?
