Sixth Anniversary of the signing of RomneyCare
« on: March 25, 2012, 04:44:24 PM »
Under RomneyCare, abortions are funded by taxpayers and a woman can kill her baby for a $50 co-pay.
All the "true conservatives" should be proud of themselves when they cast a vote for Romney just because he isn't Obama.  ::)

"Necessity is the plea for every infringement of human freedom. It is the argument of tyrants; it is the creed of slaves."

---- William Pitt (the Younger), Speech in the House of Commons, November 18, 1783

Yes, it's a bad deal, no getting around that. Paul & Newt are done, just names at this point as it is impossible for them to hit 1100+ now, that is unfortunate for us as far as Mr. Paul is concerned, just the numbers & we know the Rep. would not pull his name out of the hat in a brokered Conv. as most higher ups don't like Paul.

If someone can show how Paul can make it now, do so, otherwise it's time to get a different plan to stop Romney. Santorum is the only one left who can and his odds are getting quite small.

So, other than Santorum, if a viable 3rd Party Candidate is not in the picture & it doesn't look like there will be, what's a guy to do?

Again, I would like to see ideas on how to stop Romney. If we can't & there is no 3rd Party Candidate, then it's a no-brainer that there is no choice on the Abortion side, but still a big choice in matters of the economy, etc.

I don't want the choice between these clowns, but just saying I won't vote for the lessor of two evils is really stupid if a 3rd choice does not exist.

So, I welcome a good plan, please present. I am serious here, not being sarcastic.

Thanks Gents.

Simple!............You just vote for the candidate that really puts the country first. If it's a Republican,Democrat, Libertarian candidate or any other party candidate on the ticket, or if none are worthy of your vote then write one in.Will he or she uphold the Constitution? If not, then they will not get my vote period.

If my candidate wins, the country will be the better for it. If the lesser candidate, or to put it another way..........if the RNC candidate or DNC choice gets it, we will continue to see the sovereignty of our country slip away. This is the way I see it, and for as long as I live and vote, this will be the way I do it. We've heard the old expression.....Vote you own conscience, but IMO, few do .Most vote straight party ticket, and in this lies the problem. The way things look, I don't think the America our founders gave us will exist much longer. As a matter of fact, we don't have it now! When you say.....anyone is better than what we've got, what you are really saying is my party choice is better.I use to think that way, and help elect another Bush and lost more of my freedoms (Department Of Homeland Security) It's party politics pure and simple and they are playing us for suckers!

I have been part of the problem, and voted the lesser ticket.........Never again!

Hunter. The election is less than 8 mo away, no time now for a viable 3rd party that has any chance to win. My vote WILL COUNT, I will vote for the rep who gets the nomination, it's the ONLY way to beat the obamination. Want 4 more years of change?? Throw your vote away on somebody that has no chance of winning if it makes ya happy. All votes for anybody besides the rep candidate is a vote helping to insure 4 more  years of the illegal kenyan. Wake up guys, the obamination must go. POWDERMAN.  :o :o

Sure.. we should sit on our thumbs, get Obama back in office, welcome a lefty SCOTUS, an UN sponsored world-wide gun control, our gulf oil sold to international interests, our weapons systems canceled, following the now canceled missle defense, a nation composed of two groups..10%-20% tax payers..the rest parasites, hanging upon the taxpayers etc etc..
Sorry; I won't betray our country to the international Marxists that easily..by sitting at home on my thumbs..

You just don't get it BIG Dan ;)  It could be Gary Johnson! I hear he might run as a Libertarian candidate. I could bring myself to vote for him. Who knows! Ron Paul might run as a Libertarian or Constitution candidate. No doubt, I would vote for him :o Who know's......I may have to write one in myself.I do know one thing! I will not vote for another Socialist or Neo-con, and that leaves out Obama, Santorum or Romney.I guess that's my plan! You prob. have a different one, and in all likely hood it's a party vote plan.If you feel good about doing that, then I guess you have made the right decision in your mind ;)

Who is Dan?

Anyway, you hear someone might be a Libertarian Candidate, Ron Paul might run. OK, so no plan as yet. Well, I don't have one either, but if one emerges, it has to be soon & then let's see what is feasible. I told you to start with I can't stand Romney. So if a logical path to beat both of these emerge, I am excited. However, if none materialize and there is no third person, not acting to get rid of Obama is retarded. Weshall see won't we?

It's fascinating to me that so many of you just keep saying the same side on this topic.  This applies to both sides.  How many threads, 50 at least?  And the same 6 people saying the exact same thing in each one.  Do any of you have anything new or unique to add?  Just wondering.

Otherwise I'll save you all the trouble and summarize below:

Pro-Romney - You must vote for Romney despite his flaws because Obama is worse.  Any vote for anyone other than Romney is the same as vote for Obama.
Anti-Romney - He does not represent my beliefs and I've had it with voting for someone who does not represent me.  As long as we keep voting the lesser of 2 evils the system will never change.

Now we've got it covered.  Whew.

Okay, here's one thing that cannot be repeated too often:  Obama is the absolute worst scourge to happen to this country--ever.  If he gets another four years, this country is never going to be the country it once was and I'm not too sure it isnt already too late.  Anyone who doesn't recognize that, doesn't deserve to vote and really can't be entrusted with this countries future.  Romney, or Santorum might not be the second coming, but either of them are so much better than the commie--it isn't even close.

That's funny I tell ya!. It is 75 degrees and sunny here today. If I put an ice cube out on the sidewalk today it will have a better chance of being here at election time than Palin has a chance to win. Maybe she is moving to AZ to get away from snow and moose. You ultra conservatives just don't get it do you? An ultra conservative candidate will never win, you all are such a small minority you should apply affirmative action help. ::)

Ok, I'll add something new, although it might get censored. :-\

Romeny supporters have assured Obamas victory. Why? Because they are voting for Obama light, and by supporting him they are making the statement that they firmly believe in the exact same ideology that the O'boy stands for.......socialistic laws and grabbing our guns. Claiming that O'boys reelection will destroy us faster is their only defense........and that's a pretty sad statement on their thought processes. And what is really sad is that Romney cannot beat Obama in a straight up election. The media knows this, has even reported on polls showing it, and continues to give him the lions share of attention because of that very fact!

But then these "conservatives" really don't believe in freedom nor do they believe on our constitution...they pay both lip service in order to promote their stance, but it's as phoney as a three dollor bill. In short, most of those who claim to be conservatives and want freedom, smaller government, and a return to Americas Constitutional basis.........are liars and cowards with no stomuch for a fight for true freedom, or a willingness to even vote for it. They will simply vote for another 'socialist gun grabber', then blame everfyone but themselves when their favorite 'socialist gun grabber' doesn't win.

So I used the words liars and cowards to describe what I see as calling themselves "conservative"......is that "new" enough fer ya?
Smokeless is only a passing fad!

GuzziJohn
Well guess what. ENJOY Obama for another 4 more years. It sure seems less and less people are hitting the polls and voting these day and it is well documented also. I wounder why that is happening? I bet more people sit this election our than any other in the last 10 years. With Gerge Sores and crew they are already working the phones and unions.

Palin can't do this and that, well guess what the mediea is scared of her. Why did they keep trashing her for 2 years after the elections? They are scared of her. There like, oh lets just pick on Palin and spend millions of dollars just for fun. Why was she targeted by the left? Everything has an cause and then and effect. Many of my buddies who own businesses that are Republicans have no plan on voting for Mitt. So get off you have to vote for Mitt or it is a vote for Obama soooo whatt. One gun grabber for another. What a trade off that is and that is just the tip of the iceberg.

Hunter. I see you are not seriously dedicated to removing obummer from office. Your 3rd party vote will help insure another obummer victory. How can you live knowing you have helped reelect a man dedicated to destroying America?? POWDERMAN.  :o :o
VOTE 3RD PARTY
VOTE 3RD PARTY
VOTE 3RD PARTY
VOTE 3RD PARTY

N kid. Thats what the DNC is hoping for, another 4 years for the obamination to destroy us. You quoted me in 1 post then went off on a tangent going somewhere else. And YES, we do say why vote for romney IF he gets the nomination, the answer should be quite clear and has been said several times, TO GET THE ILLEGAL KENYAN OUT OF OFFICE, because thats the ONLY way to get him to loosen his death grip on our throats.  POWDERMAN.  ::) ::)

Who is Dan?

Big Dan T is a fictional character in "O Brother Where Art Thou"........I think getting rid of something bad, just to get something just as, or almost as bad, is in fact retarded!I wouldn't call it a plan, but some of us think if we cannot get a real honest to goodness change, we are better off just letting it play out, and see what will emerge from the ruins. It's obvious to some of us, that we will not see a good change from any of these Manchurian candidates. Most of us, I know I have voted in the past elections to elect who our party leaders told us was the better choice, and we've seen the country continue to decay regardless of the outcome. So using third grade arithmetic, I've deduced......It don't add up.So! Perhaps it's time to vote (FOR) a good person, instead of voting (AGAINST) a bad one.

Powderman wants to know how I could live myself knowing I helped to elect some Criminal dedicated to destroying America. I don't want to anymore! I did that with GW, Even got a (Memo) letter thanking me, and a Christmas card Letting me know what a good little member I was. I am  :-[ I won't be a party to it again!

Yea, it's time to vote for a good person, why not? I will ask again, who is the good person & what would his or her statagy be (Look at the date). It is stupid to think a person can rise up out of the ashes in nAug or Sept & say, Hey vote for me. So hunter, I am with you if something is in the works & we have a real Conservative running who can organize quick, if they show up dang soon & has a logical goal & plan to win, otherwise it is just RETARTED to discuss.

This deal of MAYBE John Doe will run doesn't cut it.

So who is it ?

Hope it works out

Hunter. Are we to understand that you refuse to do everything legal to rid America of the obamination in the whitehouse?? You would rather support someone who has no chance of winning and therefore deprive the only candidate that has a chance to win of your vote?? In so many words, that seems to be exactly what you are saying. Yep, that'll teach em a lesson. Go figger. POWDERMAN.  :o :o
