bears vs. hogs with dogs

I have hunted pigs with dogs and I enjoyed the excitement. Last night, I was watching channel 606 and Blueridge Outdoors and they were advertising a video hunting NC blackbears with dogs. it looked crazy. It looked more dangerous than pig hunting. What are your opinions?
Cheers,

I have hunted both with dogs. I hunted bears 2 years with hounds, and 3 years hog hunted with dogs. I was treed by about 3 hogs, I had to side step a black bear. Both animals will make your butt tighting up. I like hunting both of them, but I enjoy hog hunting more, without the dogs. Spot and stalk. Steve

I am going the same route of stalking hogs on foot.  There are about a thousand acres to hunt on and if you know how thick the vegatation is here, it can be a trip .  The hogs here are usually hunted with dogs since the hogs have so much cover that you can hear then and not see them.
Between the snakes and the bugs I might not be successful but I will have enjoyed the experience.

I agree on preference. I would rather spot and stalk too, I just wanted to know which would have the highest pucker factor.

Everytime I get within 50 yards of a bear, my heart, comes thur my chest. With hogs,  I like hunting them more then whitetail, anymore. I have killed over 100 deer, 15 hogs, but never has killed a bear. I have had over 50 bears in my sights, but never drop the hammer, or let the arrow go.
