If George Zimmerman is not arrested in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin soon, theRev. Al Sharpton will call for an escalation in peaceful civil disobedience and economic sanctions.
Sharpton would not say the efforts would be taken against the city of Sanford specifically, but he has been critical of the police department's handling of the case

ABC just showed a video of Zimmerman arriving at the police station for questioning. It shows a clear picture of the back of his head and his face, no signs of injury, blood or trauma.

The head of the NAACP said he disagreed with Al.
In the Tawana Brawley case he did the same thing only to find out that he was wrong to back her.
If there is violence I would like to see Al Charged with inciting a riot.

I take offense to the term cracker. It refers to the middle managment of the plantation, the one that Cracked the Whip to keep the slaves moving and in line.
What about the word Citizens in stead "...Citizens being legally armed and protecting themselfs, their families, and their property this can get out of hand quickly".
And it was armed citizens in Los Angeles that kept the King riots from getting further out of hand.

I was under the impression an individual convicted of a domestic violence charge was prohibited from owning any firearm, let alone having a concealed carry for a handgun.

Here is how I see it.

We have a man who murdered another. The boy was unarmed and shot in the back while running away. The laws of FL pertaining to self defense should never come into play as it was not self defense it was murder. You can not take it upon yourself to be judge, jury and executioner of an individual who is not threating your life or property. This whole think smells of vigilante justice with a hint of racism (Hispanic v Black ) thrown in.

It boggles my mind why in the year 2012 race still plays a huge part in our day to day lives. We have been programed by design to see everyone in groups of people and not as individuals. It is part of the Divide and Conquer strategy and has worked for a long time now. When I meet someone for the first time I do not look at the color of their skin, cloths, hair or any of those type things. In just a few minutes I can make a judgment call on the person and decide if I : Should keep it strictly business / Could hang out with this person / Need to stay the hell away. But I will not base my decision on race, religion, sexual orientation, fashion sense or any of that it will be based on talking to the person. I do myself tend to group people into 3 categories;

1) those that know
2) those that don't know but seek the information
3) those that just plain don't give a rats ass or want to.

I tend to stay away from the later of the 3 as those people and I are not like minded and therefore most likely will not share many if any common interests. But I do not put any less or more value on one category over another as I see everyone on an equal playing field where no one is 'Better" than the next and all laws apply to everyone equally.
OK rant over...
Now arrest the dude give him a fair trial and if found guilty carry out the sentence imposed.
As for those who are attempting to incite violence they should be put on trial for any deaths, injuries or damage that comes from it.

Somebody needs to get their facts straight. Martin was shot in the chest, not in the back and unless Martin was running backwards, I don't think he was running for his life. Even the Sharpton lead protesters know that.

That is the biggest part of the problem with this tragedy. Erroneous information being thrown around by the media and individuals that pay little or no attention to official police reports, 911 calls and eye witness accounts. In all the accounts and reports I've seen and heard, I have never heard of Martin being shot in the back while running away. The racist race baiters, (like Sharpton/Jackson), are doing what they always do, encluding distorting the truth for their agenda. Let the independent investigators do their job and if Zimmerman deserves punishment, he will get it. At this point, I can't imagine anyone trying to distort the facts in Zimmerman's favor with this much attention on the case. That would be suicide for an investigator.

Right or wrong, I heard the charges were dropped. Therefore no conviction.

I stand corrected on where he was shot as the story I read when it first broke was he was shot in the back. None the less there is still no cause for all that is going on or it being in the national news other than to create more division within the citizenry. Everyone who continues to make this an issue is only doing the bidding of those that wanted this in the media in the first place. OPEN YOUR BLEEPING EYES and maybe you will see through all the BS.

Al Sharpton...That is about all I need to read. He is the biggest racist of them all. This whole issue should not even involve race, but the media and Al want something to do. Black people will never be where they want to be as a whole. They keep ignoring the problem and trying to rally behind a cause thinking it's the reason for their current condition. They can't get over the fact, that most whites refuse to pay for a crime, they didn't commit. The condition of the black family with men being the main problem needs to be addressed by the black community. Slavery was a sin of our ancestors and theirs. After all, their own people sold them into slavery, so every side was guilty. My family on both sides were dirt poor Irish farmers who came over here for a new life. We were too poor to buy shoes, much less slaves. We worked hard and raised our families. We didn't ask for help nor did we seek to be a victim in every problem that came along. I'm sick and tired of our society accepting racism from the black community towards whites and everyone is alright with it. They have many organizations, colleges, and media outlets that discriminate toward whites. (BET, ANCF, too many to list) They would riot if it we had the same opportunities. Why can't we all move on and call it what it is? A guy shot a kid after following him and getting into a fight.

Fully agree! Your first post is a good example of the point your making. You read or heard that Martin was shot in the back while trying to escape. And thats what you repeated. I could have done the same thing. Thats how the "BS" gets perpetuated. This whole thing has been blown way out of proportion and turned into a racial issue by liberal media and race baiters. True, there are some unanswered questions about this incident. But it will all come out in the end because of all the attention it's getting now. It IS worth an independent investigation. But not all the racial outrage, IMO. Demanding that Zimmerman be arrested seems un-neccessary to me. He ain't going anywhere and the police would have already done that if they felt it warranted or neccessary. If the nonsense keeps up, he may have to go into protective custody.

The exception being small racist groups of all colors. Like the neo-nazi types and The New Black Panthers. Most people of all colors think these people are nuts. Even the original Black Panthers speak out against the NBP. It's different people with multiple agendas like the Sharptons and Jacksons and even the Marxists, that keep this racial crap stirred up for their own agendas. I'm sick of it! Before Obama, I never thought about racism. Now some jerk is always talking about it..........

As far as all the talk and outrage about profiling goes, that will not and should not stop. If I went for a walk in a black neighborhood at night wearing my King Ropes ball cap, Wranglers, boots, western shirt and a camo jacket, I guarantee I would be 'profiled' by the residents. If Martin wasn't doing anything wrong, he should have just reassured Zimmerman of that fact and they could have parted friends and both could relax and be alive today. Just saying. But the truth is we don't know all the facts yet and maybe never will. Maybe Zimmerman should go to jail. Nobody really knows for sure, except Zimmerman.
