BB,
Miss Sassy is my pride and joy. A beautiful 8 year old that has me wrapped around her little finger! ( and I would not have it any other way
)
MSP,
The 24V was reamed to 357 Max to make it more versatile.I shot "Hot" Loads in it to proof it ,then proceeded to work up a nice stable load with heavy bullets (220gr Speer). It is not picky as to which bullet it shoots, although I have never shot it for groups it nails the ends of cans on a regular basis.After all these years it is still as tight as it was when I got it. Does the same thing with 38 specials and 357 mag as well
.The 20 ga is not for sporting clays,but it is a great hunting gun. Works very well for quail and rabbits with a modified tube,slip in the imp cyl. bore tube and it is good to go for the larger stuff or snakes. I must say a 3"mag slug or buckshot load will get your attention while the field loads are just plain fun to shoot.
It is a shame that the 24's are bringing such ridiculous money right now. They are a great firearm for their intended uses.Mine has been carried all over the country and used when the occasion arose.
Would I build another? In a heartbeat
if I could find one!
Is it better than a Handi? (this may rub some fur the wrong way)
Yes , for its intended use
