Maronedog :  I returned a Swift scope to them to be repaired and it was a 4x12 with adj obj. and they sent me a new 3x9 back instead after writing them and explaining that I felt that they was in error I was assured by Steve Cutler that they would rectify their error and was sending a brand new 4x12 premier scope out to replace the original 4x12 and that I was to keep the new 3x9 that was sent out in error, so I would say that they do stand behind their products, in the meantime they are in the process of moving the rifle scope warrenty work out to California from Boston so any warenty work may be delayed a few weeks. :D    JIM

I've used a BUNCH of them over the years..  For the money, they're hard to beat!

I have a fixed 4x had it on a really light 308 that kicked hard and had lots muzzle rise, never was happy with the 308 sold it.  Put the scope on a 30-30 and it seems just fine.  No problems so far.  It was recommended by a guy at local small shop who used Swifts on some of his own guns.

A gun dealer recommended Swift to me.

I put a 4 x 12 x 50 Swift Primier Ill. Recticle on a Lazzaroni 308 Patriot.  It lasted for about 15 bullets.

Sent it back and they sent me a brand new one.  Put it on a 264 WinMag.  Something was wrong with the lens coating and if you looked toward the sun you only saw rainbows.

Sent it back and they sent me a brand new one.  Put it back on the 264 and its still working OK.

They have a real good return policy, but I don't think I would buy another one.  You can't shoot or hunt when the scope's in the shop.

If you're concerned about the details of scopes and their construction, and what they add to clarity and the ability to see in low light conditions, be advised that all Swift scopes are MULTI-COATED, ONLY...they are NOT FULLY MULTI-COATED...
