It may well bankrupt me but I would commission Gaston Glock to come up with a pistol that was not butt ugly. ;D

Hitting a multi-million dollar lottery isn't miraculous enough for you now you want a GLOCK pistol that isn't butt ugly.?  ;D
Well I figure I'm on a roll having won the lottery. 8)

Let's say a 1911 that will run a G17 into the dirt, or better yet a non railed, folded slide P-226 SIG that has a durable finish and can tolerate the abuse Glocks are known to absorb. You're right that is a bridge to far. :'(
The Sig Pro 2009 and 2340 are the marrage of a P229 and a Glock 19.
Plastic, sorry ploymer frame, sig upper and reliable and accurate.
Like mine.
Oh, I have the SP-2340 and honestly it is probably the "best" mechanically of all the guns I own. Never a malfunction, and as accurate as I need. But lets be honest here  (looking over my shoulder and in a hushed voice lest she hear me)  FAT, FAT, I say not heavy exactly but fat. Like Rachel Ray wearing a down jacket. :D  As far as I know Gaston could do no better, might get a bit more capacity out of it though. He might not take ten years to acknowledge it existence and actually promote it, unlike SIG, it's as though they were ashamed to admit they made a plastic gun that was as good as the P series. Okay so maybe it has been done ... but not by Gaston.

I want a stainless, fixed sight 3" K frame S&W 5 shot in 45 long Colt. The heavy barreled 3 inch would be a great CCW gun.

I wrote S&W about 10 years ago asking if they would make a 5 dhot 44 Special and  6 shot 357 magwith 3 and 4" barrels only I asked that they dove tail the frame for tritium night sights.  They soon after came out with the L framed 696, but did not take all of my ideas.

A S&W M53 in 22 Jet w/.22lr extra cylinder. I'd love to see a S&W in .22 Hornet or .218 Bee. Get Ruger to make a run of .256 Hawkeye's. A 45LC S&W w/extra cylinder in .45 ACP.

Bill Ruger designed a .22 LR single shot that never got produced in favor of the Standard .22 Auto; now would be a good time to produce the single shot, If I won the lottery!

I would like a luger in 45acp with a six inch barrel and artilery sights and detachable butt stock.  I would also like a set of 1911 custom in 45, 38 super, 9X23, 9X19 and 22 LR all tuned and engraved.

 A miniature Dardick in .22lr...

This is my example of the 38 cal "tround" it fired...

Many moons ago I figured I'd revive and market the basic design in the form of a .22lr "Gatling" style gun. Even built a prototype.  :)

I have wondered if a similar loading mech would work for a shotgun and allow you to simply dump rounds into a hopper like  the trounds.

I would contract ruger to design a 5 shot sa from the ground up around the .40 s&w.  Short cylinder, no bigger than it had to be, theres a .41 special that everyone could feed.

44 Auto Mag.  If it was good enough for Dirty Harry....  I do like the idea of making brass from any 308/3006 based cartridge and then using common 44 cal bullets.

Blessings!

I believe Charlie Bronson was the Auto Mag guy. Same time, same genre, shoot, I may be wrong.

Empty Quiver,

You are correct.  Same time, same genre.

However, Bronson in Death Wish 3 used a .475 Wildey Magnum.  That particular pistol is also chambered for the 44. AMP.

Eastwood fired a .44 AMP in the original Auto Mag in the 4th Dirty Harry movie Sudden Impact.  BTW, I never understood the whole Sandra Locke/Eastwood thing!

Blessings!

Sometimes the other , um, well a fella ain't always in his right mind so to speak. No doubt she was a nice gal, but here professional skills left something to be desired. She was given ample opportunity. You know if you can't say something nice...  I'll just close here.

I do believe that the lockwork of the early 70s Python is a bit different than that of 80s. Later version being maybe  not as smooth, but I believe that they were all hand fitted right up to the end of production.
