Check these out! All day fishing trip with my dad. Threw back lots of small ones, but ended up keeping 62 huge bluegill, 17 crappie, 2 catfish, and 2 largemouth bass, all on ultralight spining combos and beetle spin lures. What a day of fish fighting! What a blast!

I trust you have an electric filet knife.    Fileting that many fish with a manual knife could give a person carpal tunnel. lol

I most certainly do! Wouldn't consider keeping that many fish if I didn't...

Thanks! Catching them is always loads of fun, especially on a little ultralight spinning rig, but I always enjoy eating them ALMOST as much as reeling them in!

I like eating them too! I like to fry some of them whole with fins and tails attached! Those tails and fins can be really crisp and tasty!!

I agree! Pan frying bream whole is by far the best way to cook them! The skin adds much more flavor to the meat, and it just doesn't taste the same without the bones. Just posted pics (in the catfishing/trotlining forum) of the fishing trip I've been on for the past three days. We had a blast, and caught lots of big fine flatheads! Check them out!
