There are two interests I have and if I had real money would love to combine...........

Cannon...... And steam power.....
.

A restored British steam launch with a hotchkiss breach loader on foredeck this came off a site called shipspotting.com but not much info avalible......

Any idea what the function of the guy at the stern is?  Looks like he is just holding on to a handrail to keep him from falling overboard.

When you enlarge the image, it appears that he is looking at something farther astern.
