Rock, lee was just kidding. I have been lucky, always made it back on my own. Though the last time I deer hunted this area(a week after I had trapped it), I ended up wading out up to my chest(in my hunting clothes), to save the life of another hunter. He had become disorientated and lost, and waded out into the water. I luckily saw him(neck deep in water, head down on a piece of bog,and already purple). He had given up and I had to wade out and pull him over the bog and lead him back to shore. From there ,I ran for back up help from my cousin and her husband. They came in their jeep and we loaded him up and took him to my great aunts house. She provided him with boots, and a total wardrobe of dry clothes--plus hot coffee and food--this guy raised caine because my great aunt--then 86 years old--failed to provide him with a belt.
Sometimes saving someones life--just ain't enough for them.
