I only wish there was a video that I could show my kids.
I'm always telling them that if they behave like animals as adults the "goon squad" will come down, take them away and lock them in a cage just like any problem animal.
I guess "goon" is not 100% fair, I've met some pretty down to earth cops here in Medford.
The ones in LA are mostly straight up GOONS. They train 'em that way. They kind of have to down there.
Even alot of 8 to 10 year olds down there look hard. Young face, hard, old eyes. And some of these kids will kill
your a*# dead over nothing. There are generations of this now and most of these kids were born with two strikes against them: the
mother and the
father, and that is if the father isn't already locked up.
There is no quick simple solution to this problem as a whole but the I don't see where the officer did anything other than give that kid a taste of what may come later down the road.
It seems apparent that it is something which the parents have neglected to do. Although it takes much skill, patience, and a constantly collective demeanor to effectively communicate with a 5 year old. Most of us won't master these skills in our lifetimes.
