One nagging fact: Zimmerman was in a motor vehicle and Martin was on foot. Zimmerman must have gotten out of his truck to engage Martin. If Zimmerman had remained in his truck, he could easily have spotted Martin approaching him and could merely h ave stepped on the gas to avoid a physical encounter. Personally I think it was irresponsible for Zimmerman to have gotten out of his truck. He should not have left a position of safety in order to engage someone who was not an imminent threat, especially after the 911 dispatcher advised him against following Martin.
If that's the case, I have to agree. But that does not in any way excuse martin for his actions. He was up to something, being there, if it weren't for that ,this never would have happened in the first place. The buzz word lately is (profiling), well if it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck. If you don't want to be profiled in a negitive way, don't portray yourself as a gang banging window peeping thug.
