I am just interested in a range report.

A local shop had a Taurus Raging Hornet last year and I starting reading up on these guns.  I went back to look it over again and it was gone.  After doing the reading, I had decided the BFR was a better gun and was not sure I would have bought the Taurus anyway.  When it was all said and done, I ended up with a rifle in 22 Mag to meet my needs.

I would still like to try varmint hunting with one of these hornet revolvers.

Love the fit/finish and action of the BFR.  The Hornet BFR is a huge chunk of steel.   I reamed mine to K-Hornet, fire formed a set of cases, and haven't been back to the range with it.  Seated pulled GI Ball bullets just past the cannelure to get them into the cylinder.  Reliable sources have told me that had I been shooting them on paper I would have been very dissapointed.   Mine is old enough to not have come D&T for a scope base.  As soon as I get that done I'll scope it and shoot it some more.

The 22 hornet in a revolver is a fun round, both the BFR, and Taurus Raging hornet need to be scoped to get the most from them. Both are heavy and better if shot from a rest. I traded mine off and will get another BFR, the Taurus is discontinued. The 218 bee is also fun in a revolver. Was told that I could get a Bee cylinder made for BFR if I sent it back. May see about ordering with both next time.
