A single data point (.44 Magnum, Rifle)
« on: April 18, 2012, 12:21:54 PM »
This afternoon I chronographed 21 gr. of 2400, with a Sierra 210 gr. JHP, and a CCI 300 primer in once reloaded Magtech cases and got an average of 1705 ft.sec from my Puma/Rossi/LSI with a 20" barrel.

That was a higher velocity than I expected. The rifle likes the load, and they are relatively pleasant to shoot. They will be good for anything I am likely to encounter.

Just in case this will be helpful to anyone.
