T/C FLINTLOCK vs. CAPLOCK STOCK FIT
« on: April 18, 2012, 02:03:45 PM »
Hello Guys!
             Will a  "Flintlock" Assy. from a T/C Hawken or Renegade fit on a "Percussion Caplock"  Hawken/Renegade Stock?   and vise versa?
            Example,   If you had both a  54 Cal. T/C Hawken Flintlock Rifle and a 54 Cal. T/C Hawken Percussion Caplock  rifle, will the sidelocks interchange?  onto each wooden stock?

Thank You!
Dave
God Bless You!

My current custom TC Hawken switch lock - switch barrel with everything fitted/bedded to drop-in easy.

Evolution at work. Over two million years ago the genus Homo had small cranial capacity and thick skin to protect them from their environment. One species has evolved into obese cranial fatheads with thin skin in comparison that whines about anything and everything as their shield against their environment. Meus

More like I had.   ::)
When the health went south in 2005 I had 85 firearms, most higher end models, many custom jobs and lots of wildcats.   Down to around 20 now, and they will go too as I get around to selling them.   I haven't fired a shot since 2005.   :( :'(

Not PC RHI, but they are all kept in a 2 gun hard case together.
Cap 36 & 50, flint 45 and all barrels with high end sights for long range shooting built by an Eastern smith for his own competitions before I got them away from him.   Just toss the case in and choose the right combo for the situation at hand when you get there.
