In remembrance of my loving husband
« on: April 18, 2012, 03:26:09 PM »
I am still mourning the death of my husband John and wanted everyone here to know how much he enjoyed being a member of GBO.  He spoke about the great knowledge of your members several times and how much he enjoyed reading the posts and gaining even more knowledge than he already had.  He had been a cop for 11 years, and an FFL for even longer.

He was a loving husband and dedicated father.  He always thought so much of this website.  I lost him to a 3rd stroke on Dec. 12, 2011.

I'm sure he's sitting up there watching over all of you now.  God bless.

Mrs. JLS
Deceased due to a 3rd stroke on Dec. 12, 2011.

RIP John.

My condolences on your loss.

Thank you for posting to let us know of his passing. We have a forum here just for the purpose of reporting deaths of members and their loved ones. I will move your post there so more folks will see it. I will also post the date of his death in his profile so folks who might see his posts in other threads can be aware as well.

Mrs. JLS, on here John was a good fellow as well. Although most of us are truly strangers, as we have never met face to face. A lot of people have made many friends out of these strangers. Your husband was one of many here that was considered a friend. Sorry for the loss for you and your family.
