How about that Remington Vantage air rifle? Seems like a good one. I Read the review about it from airgunweb.com
Only can be had in .177 cal. which prolly is about all anyone really needs in an airgun like these. Anyway, I think it would be a decent air rifle for the money. scout4

the remington vantage is a b19 badged for remington. it's a robust, simple airgun, based on the older game hunter. it has good power and responds well to a tune. aftermarket parts are available also. a trigger from charlie da tuna will also do it wonders. it's the same gun as the crosman quest or storm . it's a very good gun to start out with. my son has one (pre crosman) in 22 that i tuned and cut to carbine length that shoot about 710 with 14 grain pellets. it's very accurate and he's taken alot of small game with it!
