I traded into this gun cheap. I got to shoot and research it before hand. If it were not for aftermarket triggers being available, I,d have passed for sure! everything about this gun seems to be a grade but the awfull trigger. wow!  Ill be ordering a charlia da tuna, replacement!
Does the barrell have baffles? i expected it to be louder than it is. Does
What do you other trail owners think of this gun?

from what i have read they are hit or miss. poor barrel lockup, pellets hittng shroud, bad crown. 50% love em 50% hate em. i have a benjamin superstreak which is the same gun, unshrouded in 22 with a long barrel, that i tuned. it is deadly accurate to 50 yards and i haven't had any problems with it. also has a "charlie" trigger, which made a world of difference! :D

shrouded means integrally "quieted".it's a marketing ploy for spring guns as there is not much noise anyway, and what there is sounds more mechanical than a gunshot.i don't mess with them as ny states that any gun that has been suppressed is illegal to hunt with . in my mind this includes airguns as once an airgun can achieve 600fps, one can hunt with it, and once one hunts with it, it's considered a firearm. some would tell you different, but i'de rather not leave myself open for the shaft!according to the way i read it, the moment you use an airgun in the manner of a firearm, it is a firearm! i'm not chancing it! even my loudest pcp is more quiet than my 22wmr
