Fur Prices
« on: April 22, 2012, 12:36:40 PM »
These posts on fur prices are really interesting to me...  :)  When I did my trapping, 55 or so years ago  ::) , my sets were for muskrat.  Never caught a mink; don't think I ever saw sign of one...  :-\  but they were the "holy grail" of the day money wise...  We hunted coon at night with dogs.  There weren't any beaver and the idea of trapping fox never crossed my mind!

Seems to me an average 'rat, stretched and fleshed, would bring about 50 cents.   :-\

HEY!  I just remembered why I quit trapping and went to work at a local garage!   ::)   ;D
