It is hard to believe he has done anything since it is not reported by mainstream media, even the New York Times has posted for five months (and still posts) that the total delegate count for Ron Paul in Iowa is 1 and in Minnesota is 9. In fact, Ron Paul supporters will now dominate both state conventions.Ron Paul supporters surged to victory in yesterday’s Minnesota and Iowa district conventions, dominating the process and picking up more delegates to the Republican National Convention.
A number of Romney Hawks are now deeply concerned that Ron Paul has laid the groundwork for similar success in six more caucus states, and the same trend is ongoing in states across the country. According to WeConservatives.com, Minnesota's RNC National Committeewoman tweeted, Ron Paul will take 20 of 24 Congressional District delegates to the Republican National Conventions from Minnesota.
Will Ron Paul pull a Harding?
Warren G. Harding went into the 1920 RNC convention as an underdog going against Len Wood (anyone ever hear of him ? ) That contested convention ended after the 10th Ballot went to Harding with 70%. Harding went int the convention with only 6.25% and came away with 70%. That is how contested conventions work.
This is why the RINO establishment fears a brokered convention, not because it would supposedly weaken republicans, but because it would help ensure that their chosen one Romney would lose.
