which scope?

:D  I'm setting up my new barrel and want your opinions on a scope.  My other barrels wear Leuopold 2.5x8 handgun scopes; I am happy with these scopes.  One barrel is a 223 and the other a 338 WM (ported).  Both barrels are 15."  This new barrel is also a 15" ported job, and is in 375 H&H.  My dream hunt with this barrel is for Cape Buffalo, and maybe big bears.  I'm thinking about another 2.5x8 Leuopold, but should I consider a 4x fixed (or even a 2x fixed)?  Opinions wanted.  Thanks!

Thanks, and good ideas.  I'll probably go with the 2.5x8 for $100 more.  I have a 6 screw weaver style one-peice base from Virgin Valley (they made the barrel).  I am planning to use 3 weaver rings.  What do you think 444?
