As you have probably heard, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker is under re-call threat by the unions.  He is probably the best thing that has happened to Wisconsin in the last 50 years.

  I got the same letter too and I don't live there, so why is he asking for funds from out of the state ?  I think I can tell you why..because union thugs, the DNC, Democrat Governor's Assoc, union boss hogs from all over the country are sending in funds to try  to get Walker ousted.  Seems their gravy train in Wisconsin is slowing down a bit..and they don't like that !
  I haven't sent the letter back yet..but I guess I will..with a little something in it.  I do like helping the "under dog" especially when one poor dog has so many "vermin" attacking him at the same time..

If Walker had been a bit more diplomatic about how he went about all this it would have probably worked better. Instead he just tried to bully his agenda through instead of trying to work it out with the unions. I have been in education for over 20 years and DO NOT belong to the union but they have their place. By the way TEACHERS ARE NOT OVERPAID!!! We have a republican governor who is wanting to take the funding for disabled programs and supports away from the state run system while not perfect has worked pretty good and turn it over to an out of state private company (that contributed heavily to his campaign) that has nine cases of medicaid fraud pending. After much protesting he is finally backing down and is giving more time for this to be studied and worked out. Maybe Walker should take notes.

I'm not sure how it could have worked out better... State unions are finally under control and not destroying our budget.  3.6 million dollar deficit gone!
Conceal carry now in effect.  Voter ID was in effect until some liberal judges started politicing from the bench, but it will be back.
 
Whiney union liberals would never be happy so I'm glad he did it the way he did.  He said he was going to do something and he did it, instead of talking about it for years like most politician...  If everyone who approved of what Walker did sent him $5 this issue would go away.

       Come now.  With the way the democrats run to the courts to change votes they don't like, do you REALLY think it would have made a spit's worth of difference if he had done it "more nicely"?

You can't be diplomatic when your a little worse than out of money, which means your in deep debt...you just have to say NO...same thing in any household or business....and it's not going to be popular when the money shuts off.  It's just that simple...someone has to say no. 
Now Walker is not in as much of a mess as you think, I saw a story on the news where the polls were being reported very inaccurately so this place did a real poll with likely voters....and guess what...looks like of there is a vote he has an excellent chance at staying in there.

Our governor did the same thing, just had to say no...no more money...people in Michigan went through all the recall stuff...looked like he was introuble...but alas....it was a small bunch of people making lots of noise using the media as an amplifer.
Yes...people will scream loud when they are told there is no more money for them...they are still screaming in Michigan.  When the money is gone, it's gone...and truth is it was gone long ago..it is deep debt.   Problem is people getting money turns into something they think they deserve no matter what....and the unions are no different, just another type of government milking as much money as they can, and there is a political party attached to the unions, which also means they get hurt as well...lots of noise.
 
Teenagers will also scream in your house if you've been giving them lots of money and it runs out...you still won't have the money to give them no matter how loud they screen...it's natural...if you have been foolish enough to give money away in the first place with no controls.
Now concerning the title of this thread...no I can't send money to Walker...and why should I?  I have my own governor to stand behind here, the state is on their own.  If Walker for some reason does not make it...the state will just go deeper in debt, and eventually the money will stop DEFACTO at some point like it always does...so either way...it will stop, it just depends on WHEN.

The first thing he did as Milwaukee County Supervisor was to cut his salary nearly in half, returning $370,000 to the taxpayers.  Fine me a donkey that did that!  He make $137k as Governor and should be paid much more for what he had done for the state.

A teacher I know in Ohio is retiring at 58 years old with 85% of her salary still collecting after retirement. Also provided with health care after retirement. Not just summers and spring breaks off.  -  Underpaid??     Too bad we all can't collect others tax dollars when we are not working.

I could care less about private unions, they can do what they want as long as I have a choice.  Had a union rep stop out at my job site last week asking why we didn't have union labor/operators. Had to escort him off site...  Thankfully Wisconsin isn't Illinois or I wouldn't have had a choice...
 
 
I paid my off my college without a union representing me, it can be done.  In Wisconsin teachers were a protected species who got whatever they wanted.  Schools were forced to buy insurance from the union that was at least 2 times the cost of what the same plan would cost from mainstream insurance companies.  Now taxpayers are not handcuffed and forced to pay through the nose and teachers have to prove they are worth their salt.  How terrible...

The unions are for pulling in massive amounts of money in order to grow themselves the same as any organization that does not generate their own money but uses other people's money to create jobs for themselves and grow themselves larger with more power.  I also could care less about unions representing private companies that is not my business....but when you attach them to the people I pay in the public sector, they are writing contracts between themselves and a union that I am not included in, even though I pay for what's in the contract that they decide upon...including of they think I need to pay for their Viagra.  Teachers in this state make top dollar all things considered, they retire with pensions which I payed for, and I don't get, I don't see where they would not be getting a working wage here without a union...I do see where they would have more money in their paychecks without a union. 
My 3 sons paid for their own college, and yes it was VERY HARD...but they worked hard at many jobs on the way through,  one son picked the NG and joined up there to help with education costs.  They learned about needing 2 lousy paying jobs instead of one to make ends meet, just sleep less.  They also learned how much money gets extracted from your pay to pay for the ones that don't work hard...and vote accordingly.  Cause all things considered, not all exert the same amount of ambition in life or try as hard as some others. 
The unions are political when attached to the public sector, they need money to grow, they funnel money into political parties to help elect people to keep them in place, cause hey..it's a job...but don't act like they give a rip about any working people, they do not...they need to justify their existence the same as a government tries to justify their existence and size.  The unions and the government have turned into businesses....the only thing is they don't generate their own money for producting anything, they use ours money for the entire purpose of growth and power.  They don't care about anything else.

      These young men will not be seen cavorting with the lazy, spoiled OWS crowd.  They know they can make it without Uncle Sugar patting their heads and wiping their butts.  They have the guts to do what it takes 1,2 or 3 jobs...whatever it takes..
  They are better equipped to handle whatever may come down the pike in the future.

There are others too that worked hard to make it through, and some are working hard right now, problem is the ones that work hard will be thought of as evil people with money when they finally make it all on their own and have something.  None of these people who put forth the effort at an early age will have time to be with the OWS crowd, they have other goals. The problem as I see it is not everyone puts forth the same effort, but there are people who want to reward the ones that don't, and take from the ones that do put forth effort. They try to level the playing field with RESULTS,  and you just will never have the same result of one person who lives in a tent protesting, and another who works his tail off against all odds and puts forth great effort.  Some people try harder, and get better results, and some fail and try even harder after that.
And speaking of effort...there is an older retired guy around these parts that walks more miles in a day than most people walk in a week, he picks up cans all over, has a big cart he takes with him, stops at all the gas stations and takes the cans from the garbage cans of those places too.  He must make 60 bucks or more a week at least.  I've seen guy over 6 miles from where he lives in each direction!  He's in great shape, a good mood whenever we see him, and his effort gets him at least 240 extra a month from just walking a whole bunch.  He got hit by a car about a year ago and it broke his leg...he was back out there limping with a cane before long, now he's getting around almost as good as he always has...now that's what I'm talking about. Basically, this guy makes money on everyone being too lazy to take care of their cans properly, and I bet he wishes the OWS crowd would come around these parts for a while....he'd make a killing on their laziness and sloppy rude habits.

One minute your saying he's a Nazi and in the next post you're complaining that he's not paying for someones 4 years of college? Is he the father of those kids? What exactly are you complaining about as most of us have no clue? Most college degrees are 4 years. Are you saying they're too long or too short? Are you saying it's Scott Walker fault that there's 4 year degrees? What exactly are you trying to say? ??
 
Any congressman, senator, governor or any elected official who tries to save money is OK in my book. It's only the Obamanites and the clueless that believe that throwing money at a problem fixes it.
