  Much of the crying about medical care is by politicians wanting to enlarge the federal govt.  They try to present an enlargement of the federal govt as a panacea for all of societal ills, when the federal govt is actually the progenitor of many of societies ills.
  There are claims by those who actually READ the Obamacare bill (as opposed to most who voted for it and who didn't read it), that there will be "rationing boards' for costly medical services.
 
   Ignoring the political spin by the control freak politicians, let us use our gray matter:
        If Obamacare is as wonderful as those who voted it in claim it is..why didn't they drop their special congressional coverage and subject THEMSELVES to the same "CARE" they are trying to thrust upon the rest of us ?

   OK.. here's a hint for improved vocabulary which I discovered as a teeenager:
 
  When you discover a word that is new to you, learn that word along with it's pronunciation and meaning.  Then use that word in conversation, three times in the next week. ...If you do that, then you OWN it !

most colleges have a 1year program that can produce those GOOD secretaries, but they have to be serious about their work.

If your doctor is strickly medicare ...maybe. You best check again on their admin staff...bookkeeper re'cvr and billables, purchaser, insurance co-ordinator, appt. sec and so on.....if the doctor is doing over 1 million$ a year in gross he isn't doing that with one secretary.  Just look at the staff employed by HC insurance companies alone, since they mucked everything up going for profit under Reagen sign off..

I have an idea that may help cut costs for those of you unwilling to pay your own freight. Refuse any service that requires any computing power whatsoever, on top of that refuse treatment with any prescription drug that was developed during or after the Reagan administration.


If you want to take advantage of advancements in medical treatment you are going to have to pay for them. What is so hard to understand?

  Govt teachers with Christian school teachers
 
     If you enjoy your contacts with the DMV, EPA and IRS..you may learn to like govt medicine..
 
  Let's be candid, much of the exponential costs for medicine are because of unnecessary tests and undeserved malpractice awards..because of and manfacture by ambulance chasing lawyers..
 
  BTW:  Every time "tort reform" comes up..the Democrats shoot it down.  I suppose that has nothing to do with the fact that trial lawyers are one of the biggest donor groups for the DNC..

Not according to corporate HC spokesmen..they said there was no way they could compete with a Universal HC plan...that's what they said.
Properly run government, like anything else properly and honestly run, can compete with anything else out there in the landscape....in fact we are seeing alot of 'cures'  rather than 'treatments' coming out of not for profit HC systems, because that's where the incentive is curing rather than treating.

All the time....You work for the governmnent don't you...?  I wouldn't be biting the hand that feeds you....Thats what I find interseting about the so-called conservatives....governmnet is OK carrying on wars, intel and weapons research..police and fire departments,,,highway mainetenence and coordination and countless other activities...EXCEPT when its stuff they don't agree with...then governmnet sucks.

And I see constant reminders of government waste and inefficiency, near daily. I notice you didn't cite any examples of them getting anything done on time or within budget. I'm sure you can find a web site that indicates they do though.................... pardon me if I don't hold my breath while you find thousands of stellar examples.

And yes, I'm sick to death of the ongoing wars, and I don't fear speaking up about about it. We have been at "war" nearly all of my adult life and what do we have to show for it? More waste and more inefficiency! The waste that goes on in everything you mentioned above is outrageous........government sucks!!!! Right out of the taxpayers wallet!
