ROA High Polished Ivory Grip Pistol
« on: May 04, 2012, 08:06:08 PM »
Hello,

Can anyone tell me a good place to purchase a new ROA highly polished pistol with the ivory grips?
I have one with the Rosewood grips and really like it, and would like to get another one.

Are they still being made from Ruger's factory?

Also what is a good price?

Thank You
Dave
God Bless!

Ruger stopped making ROA's a few years ago. I heard about it and snatched a 51/2" polished fake ivory grip pistol that day. Poof, they were all gone very soon after. I should have bought two. Good luck in your search.

Yep.  Production ceased in 1997 I believe, or thereabouts.

More like 2010 or so, and I too got one of the short barrel stainless fixed sight ones. And I wish I had bought 10 of 'em seeing what they bring now!

But seriously, keep an eye on Gunbroker and Auctionarms, they occasionally turn up. Be prepared to pay the price though...
