Tell me what you think about these two scopes in 3-9x 40mm. I am going to get one or the other and cant decide, esp now that bushnell makes both.

If it were me I'd spend a tad more and get a Bushnell Trophy or a Weaver V-9.

I did happen to check out the bushnell trophy but didnt like the amber hue it gives, seems like the banner was alot brighter to me than the trophy. The world class seemed as good or better than both, but im still not sold 100% on tasco.  :?

Bushnell now makes both. The clarity and brighness are about the same and both have lifetime warrenties.

I have a Bushnell Banner 3-9x40 and a Tasco Black Powder World Class 2-7x32.  The Tasco WC is brighter than the Banner even though the objective lens is smaller.  Go figure...

Bearwolf31,

For a little extra money, try and take a look at the Bushnell Legends.  They are placed between the Trophy and the Elite 3200.  Granted, I am a huge fan of the 4200, and even the 3200, I wouldn't recommend going any lower than the Trophy line.  So given that you don't like the glass on the Trophy, take a look at the Legends.

Seems like the Bushnell Legends are scarce and not a whole lot of info on them. I keep checking out the bushnell trophy down at the local Academy and I am beginning to like it more and more. I sure cant much difference at all between the trophy and the Nikon Prostaff, price being the biggest difference. After all I have read and heard I think I will stick with either the bushnell trophy or millett buck silver scopes to go on the new 308 when it arrives.

You would be happy with the Trophy model...I have two of the 1.75-4x32 models on my slug guns...They are tough and I love the clarity and brightness.  I don't think you will be disappointed.  Plus I picked them up for a price range in the low $80 range from www.dnrsports.net...Good luck with whatever you choose.
