Jon-- burris- free spotting scope

Jon is the free burris spotting scope any good at all, I saw some complaints, if its junk I wish they wouldn't even offer it , it makes the rest of there product line look bad. but if its a decent scope that can be used its great.Also I don't see any Burris 3-9x40 matte, ballistic on your site, are they avail. thanks for your time--Bruce

Bruce,

It is an ok spotting scope.  Nothing fancy or great optically, but does work.  As stated, it is made in China.  I guess what does one expect for being free.  Actually we are getting more of the matte finish scopes in anyday.  I am hoping that we get the 50 that we want, but we will have to see.
