This saddens me, some. She was a great talent, great voice, just beautiful. Last week in San Diego we were listening to the radio, they mentioned her illness and were playing some of her stuff. What a voice. And did I mention... she was hawt.

I have a video of her down in Billy Bobs in Texas.  She came riding in sidesaddle on a horse.  Yes she was hot, especially in that long white leather skirt and cowboy hat.  I always like her songs, and the wife and I did a lot of dancing to her music back when we were dating and first married.  Real sorry to hear about her death at the age of 63, same age as I am.  That really drives it home.
