Those are gorgeous.  Simply gorgeous.
 
I've never invested in the trully spectaluar grips for my 1911s- they are all super aggressive types with little pizzazz. 
 
One day I'll grab up a stainless or brushed stainless 1911 and go for some grips like that.
I'm not "special."  I'm capacity challenged.

Looks real nice David. I like how you made them shiny enough to bring out the detail of the grain. Yet subdued to not clash with the matte stainless finnish.
